Toyota Training Center

Schlagel & Associates, P.A. collaborated with Sabatini Architects to develop a site design for the Toyota Distribution Center Expansion. The project included the expansion of the office/training area, the distribution area, the addition of 186 new parking spaces, the reconstruction of several parking spaces, and a new entry plaza and rain garden. The civil design for the project included several stormwater features designed to improve the water quality of stormwater runoff. The entry plaza and rain garden contained native plants. A series of geometric landforms with native prairie grass were arranged in an open lawn area to provide a focal point. The main entry garden included a roof drainage collection system that was used to irrigate plant beds.
