Landscape Architecture

Schlagel designs landscapes that are creative, attractive, functional, complementary to the development, enhance the market potential, and respect the client’s needs. The project budget, maintenance, and environmental context are considered during the design process. Our landscape architects have designed several thousand aesthetically pleasing landscapes to create project identity, activity and retreat spaces, gardens, and buffers for unattractive views. Our landscape architects are experienced in designing with native plant material to create prairie, woodland, and wetland environments and water quality features.

Project and Construction Management

Additionally, we offer project management and construction management services. Throughout the design and construction of the project, our experienced staff draws on extensive knowledge of the construction process to effectively assess and resolve differing field conditions as they arise, enabling us to consistently maintain project quality while staying on schedule and within budget.

Project Inspection/Observation

Our experienced project inspectors bring value to the project team by ensuring specifications are met and that contract pay items are accurate. They work with our Engineers and project managers to communicate field challenges to help the team arrive at a solution.
