Founded in 1983, Schlagel is well known for blending the engineering, planning, surveying and landscape architecture professional disciplines to provide exceptional work and client service for a variety of projects.
Combining all of these services in house allows for an integrated design process from the concept to the construction of the project. Our commitment to developing project designs that fit the client requirements results in developing long term relationships with our clients. Schlagel has completed a wide variety of projects less than 1 acre to others over 1000 acres. Our staff is licensed in Kansas and Missouri.

Schlagel’s dedicated staff takes tremendous pride creating practical solutions for the project that reflects the desires of the client. Our staff’s coordinates your entire project, working directly with clients, consultants, governmental personnel and contractors. Our diverse knowledge and experience in construction, engineering, planning, landscape architecture, and surveying allows us to consider the project design from the functional, aesthetic, and technical points of view.
We bring your designs to life though our proven design creativity, AutoCAD and other design software allowing our staff to efficiently and clearly communicate the design. Understanding of the interrelationship between the creative design elements and the technical details enable our staff to make the design for a project a reality.
