St. Thomas Aquinas High School

The Saint Thomas Aquinas High School includes an academic building for grades nine through twelve, a lighted football/soccer field, a baseball field, a softball field, and practice fields.  Schlagel has provided civil engineering services for several improvements to the campus including parking lot expansions and a football/soccer field upgrade in 2012.  The football/soccer field upgrade included replacing an existing natural turf with a TigerTurf synthetic turf and adding 1,000 +/- seat visitor bleacher. The field grading was modified and an underdrain system was installed.  The grading included the construction of a swale to carry the sports field stormwater runoff.  New fencing was provided around the field.
